Does the bus wait for passengers if they are late?

As this is a shared service with other passengers connecting the airport to the city, buses must follow the scheduled timetable, except in cases of force majeure. Therefore, it is not possible to wait for late passengers.

Please note that Orioshuttle allows you to use your online ticket for earlier or later departures than the one booked (for more information, see the question “Is the ticket valid only for the booked trip?”).

Are Orioshuttle buses equipped with ramps for people with disabilities?

Most buses are equipped with ramps for people with disabilities.
We kindly ask you to make an online reservation and/or contact our customer service by sending an email at least 7 days before departure.

Is it possible to carry special luggage (e.g. bicycles, surfboards) on Orioshuttle buses?

It is possible to carry special luggage such as strollers, wheelchairs, or bicycles on Orioshuttle buses only if they are foldable. As for larger items, such as surfboards, transport depends on the available space in the luggage compartment. Please note that an additional fee applies for special luggage.

Is an extra fee required for luggage?

Orioshuttle allows the free transport of one checked bag and one carry-on bag; additional luggage is subject to a fee. Carry-on luggage is permitted on board only if its size is compatible with the designated compartments and if it does not pose any danger during the journey. For more information, please refer to the Luggage and Policy section.

Is the online ticket valid only for the booked trip?

The ticket purchased online is valid for earlier and later departures than the one booked (within 6 hours before/after and on the same date indicated on the ticket), subject to service availability and seat availability.

How early should I arrive at the stop?

We recommend arriving at the stop at least 15 minutes before the scheduled bus departure time.

Is it necessary to print the ticket?

The ticket can be printed or shown on a tablet/smartphone.

How can I tell if my purchase was successful?

After completing your purchase, you will receive a confirmation email with all the booking details. If you have not received the confirmation email, we suggest checking your spam/junk folder and verifying your bank account to see whether the booking amount has been charged. If you have not received the confirmation email and the amount has not been charged, it means the booking was not successful.

IMPORTANT! The payment confirmation email does not constitute a valid ticket/travel document. You must download your ticket from the link provided in the confirmation email, which contains the travel details and the QR code.

I encountered issues with my purchase, what can I do?

If you are unable to complete your booking during the purchase process, we recommend using a different browser than the one currently in use, clearing your browsing history, and trying to make a new booking.

Where can tickets be purchased?

Our tickets can be purchased:

  • on our website www.orioshuttle.com,
  • by scanning the QR code available at all our stops,
  • directly on board from the driver.
Where are the Orioshuttle stops located?

Orioshuttle stops are:

  • Bergamo city: Via Furietti, 17
  • Orio al Serio Airport:
    • for Milan Central Station: arrivals area forecourt
    • for Monza / Malpensa: arrivals area forecourt, shelter no. 7
  • Monza: Via Falcone e Borsellino (side street of Via Milano)
  • Malpensa T1: level -1, arrivals area, shelter no. 5 (in front of Sheraton Hotel)
  • Malpensa T2: outside arrivals area, shelter no. 5
